Description:
The space was a gut rehabilitation of an underutilized storage space transformed into a large open duplex art gallery with a high-end marble restroom and pantry area. A new steel and marble staircase was designed that connecting the two floors that incorporates a section of removable railing to accommodate receiving large paintings to the 2nd floor. The staircase allowed for greater light to flood the lower floor. The rear ground floor existing concrete lattice and glass block skylight were restored, bathing the office space in natural light. The artwork is enhanced by a track lighting grid system.
